- Scott Evans – Scott Evans is a professional badminton player of Irish descent. He was born on September 26, 1987. In 2006, Evans was ranked the highest Irish badminton player. That same year he was awarded a scholarship prize by the Olympic Council of Ireland so he could focus on the Summer Olympics in 2008.
- Wang Chen – Wang Chen is a promising badminton player from Hong Kong. She was born on June 21, 1976. In 2006, Wang was able to snatch a gold medal at the 2006 Asian Games; she won the women’s singles category. A year later she won a silver medal at the World Championships, having been defeated by Zhang Ning of China. She is married to Chinese badminton player Zheng Yumin.
- Li Li – Li Li is an exceptional female badminton player. She moved from China to Singapore in 1997 and has lived there since. She won a gold medal at the 2002 Commonwealth Games for the women’s singles category.
