Brand Marketing

By theguideto

Launching a new product brand is a lot like fishing. For starters, you can’t just throw the hook into the water and wait all morning and afternoon for something to bite. If you really got to do it, fishing or brand marketing, then you’ve got to do it with finesse, with grace. You’ll need to learn when and how to apply the right amount of jerk, that attention-grabbing pull, if you really want your customers to appreciate your brand. With perseverance, and a little luck, maybe you’ll hit all the right notes.

Brand marketing is the sensitive process of exposing your brand to the general public so that consumers are made aware of the product’s availability in the market. This is also known as brand advertising. Naturally, you can’t have a successful product without a successful brand. These two goes hand in hand. When people like your product, they’ll more or less remember your brand, and vice versa.

How to Pull Off an Effective Brand Marketing

  • Develop a Company Philosophy – Healthy and motivated workers produce exemplary results. Reinforce company rules and philosophies. However, try not to be too strict with the implementation. Successful branding isn’t just about what the consumer sees, but also what the employee thinks.
  • Maintain Brand Consistency – Consumers associate brands with getting the same amount of bang for the buck, regardless of where they bought the product from. For example, poor service from a restaurant in one location can potentially damage the reputation of a restaurant of the same franchise in another location.
  • Practice What You Preach – Lead by example. Simple as that. If you say in an interview that your company puts its customers at the top of the list, then make sure you have a stable customer service division on stand by, ready to take in customer inquiries.

Other notable factors affecting brand marketing includes implementation of brand guidelines and awareness of cultural differences.
