Nets are a common sight in many of today's sports. Basketball is simply not basketball without the swishing sensation the ball makes as it passes through the net on a fade away “nothing but net” field goal. The same goes for soccer, volleyball, tennis, hockey, table tennis and even badminton. You simply can't have a game of badminton without a badminton net.
